ESA TPM: The Third Party Missions Programme

Airbus is committed through the ESA TPM programme to supply optical and radar data products to the scientific and researcher community

Programme

The ESA Third Party Programme (TPM) supplies optical and radar data for scientific research and application development. Users need to submit their request and be accepted to the programme.

Airbus is honoured to contribute to the ESA PTM programme, which gathers data from over 60 instruments. This includes data from Airbus’ optical and radar satellite constellation.

ESA TPM Webinar - Speakers

Webinar

On March 20, Airbus experts shared how the Airbus Constellation provides Earth Observation data to help researches and pre-operational application development.

Viewers discovered how the large Airbus imagery portfolio can be accessed within the third party mission including: Pléiades Neo HD15, Pléiades Neo, Pléiades, Vision 1, SPOT, the Radar Constellation and the Living Library.

During this webinar, our team of experts showcased real life examples of the use of the Pléiades Neo spectral bands and how to get data from the OneAtlas platform.

A special thanks to our experts for sharing their valuable insights:

  • Patryk Jaskula, Sales & Business Development Manager from Airbus Defence and Space, explained how to apply for Airbus data access via ESA’s Third-Party Mission Programme,
  • Karine Fernandez, One Tasking Product Marketing Manager from Airbus Defence and Space, presented our optical and radar constellation and highlighted each sensors to choose the right one for your project,
  • Victor Baudin, Pléiades Neo Product Marketing Manager Airbus Defence and Space from Airbus, focused on the Pléiades Neo capacities and especially on their new radiometric level that will be available soon through the dehazing option,
  • Anne Jacquin, Satellite Data Scientist from Airbus, showcased real-world and scientific applications of satellite data, for bathymetry, tree health monitoring and more- thanks to the use of Pléiades Neo red edge and deep blue spectral bands.
