What is Fortion® GVTC?

To ensure the availability of primary care facilities for new patients, it is essential to transport the wounded, injured and sick to higher level treatment facilities (secondary transport).

The system can be easily converted from “Low Care“ (LC) to “Intermediate Care” (IMC) during missions without requiring additional material. In the LC configuration, up to eight patients can be transported, with four seated patients and four on stretchers. The IMC configuration accommodates up to six patients on stretchers. In the IMC setup, the oxygen generation system can support up to four patients needing oxygen and two patients requiring intenive care treatment, including mechanical ventilation. Additional there is room for two medical personnel.

GVTCs are operated on a protected carrier vehicle, ensuring high mobility and suitability for various terrains. As the system is based on an ISO standard container (20’x8’x8’), it can be utilised with a truck featuring an interchangeable loader system and can be transported by truck, train, vessel or aircraft.
