In this image we discover the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge in New York, captured by our Pléiades Neo satellite with the highest resolution.
The Brooklyn Bridge, a historical and architectural icon, connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. Opened in 1883, it is one of the oldest bridges in the United States. This suspension bridge is a true masterpiece of engineering, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city skyline. Thanks to our Pléiades Neo satellite, every detail, from steel cables to busy traffic lanes, is revealed with unprecedented precision.
From a wide shot we can observe the scale of the city of New York with the presence of its many buildings. When we zoom in over the bridge, we can see the famous steel cables held by the stone towers built in a neo-Gothic style . Bridge traffic is discernible, with identifiable cars. Every day 120,000 people cross the Brooklyn Bridge by car. From the Manhattan side, we can see the skyscrapers overlooking New York City. On the Brooklyn side, the adjacent streets and parks like Brooklyn Bridge Park, with its vegetation, are discernable. We can identify several docks with moored boats and port infrastructure.
