Partnering for information superiority

For over 40 years, Airbus has pioneered Earth Observation, delivering valuable insights to customers and enabling decisive missions & tactical operations around the world.

Our Direct Receiving Stations offer direct access to our Earth Observation capabilities, ensuring full autonomy and the highest degree of confidentiality.

In a context where time is of the essence and fresh information is crucial, Direct Receiving Stations are THE key asset for the greatest challenges.

How does a Direct Receiving Station work?

Comparison and benefits of a DRS video

Operational loop

1:13

1

Autonomous Tasking request

Through a single, comprehensive tasking programme, entities can place tasking requests over their Area of Interest (AOI) up to 45 min before the satellite pass. By being a DRS partner, you benefit from having a very high priority over your tasking requests in your region, ensuring access to a reliable source of geospatial data.

2

Downlink directly on your antenna

Once your AOI is acquired by our satellite, receive your telemetry in a few seconds or minutes depending on the amount of data.

3

Unlimited processing & Local archive

Unlimited production, large diversity of processing options (Primary, Ortho, etc.), reprocessing from your local archive are among the top benefits of having a DRS. With your images processed in less than 30 minutes, you can harness almost near-real time intelligence to support your operations.

Features

  • Two distinctive DRS solutions for our optical and radar sensors
  • Own infrastructure ensures full autonomy and confidentiality
  • Optimised tasking mode, ordering your specific areas of interest, wherever they may be
  • Dedicated 24/7 Customer Service

Did you know?

With our DRS, you reduce drastically the latency, accessing fully processed images in minutes compared to hours with regular digital offers.
