Join us on April 9 to learn how to use Living Library and Basemap together to complement your imagery needs.
In this webinar, you will learn about the satellite imagery services: Living Library and Basemap, what they are, how they work, and the benefits of each. We will take it a few steps further to show several real-world applications related to monitoring urban growth, energy and resource management as well as land change from recent natural disasters.
Join us and learn more about:
- Living Library: Airbus’ curated archive imagery service, allowing users to stream and download 30cm, 50cm and 1.5m data instantly from our catalog. The Living Library is a scalable service that allows flexible access to small AOIs anywhere in the world.
- Basemap: A curated global layer of 1.5m, 50cm and 30cm data that can be used as a reference layer, globally, or over your AOIs. Our basemap product has evolved over time and we will show the upcoming advancements to this service.
- How users can combine the Basemap and Living Library services together to create a robust arsenal of imagery for a variety of use cases. We will cover a few examples in this webinar that include:
- Urban Growth: We will take a look at the city of Cairo and some of the expansions of the city and surrounding neighborhoods to identify infrastructure development.
- Energy and Resource Management: A deeper look at Pirapora, Brazil to see how operators plan and monitor their energy production infrastructure.
- Land Change and sustainability: We will dive into historical imagery archive to see how our world and landmass is changing.
Participants will get a chance to ask questions live in a Q&A session with our imagery experts on hand.
