Pléiades Neo Applications Campus

CNES and Airbus support innovation projects using Pléiades Neo satellite data
through the Applications Campus.

Three calls for innovation projects in 2024 resulted in the selection of seven
projects. A new call for projects has now been published for 2025.

The Applications Campus aims to develop space applications using Pléiades
Neo data:

  •  for national and international markets
  •  with strong commercial potential

Focus on French companies and startups – apply now and seize the
opportunity to develop space applications with international reach, supported
by both entities.

Applications

For this fourth call for projects, applications must be submitted by 30 September, 2025, by
completing the online form.
You will then have the opportunity to present your project to a committee during pitch sessions organised from 6 to 17 October.

Selection

Criteria:

  • Commercial potential of the proposed application
  • Innovative nature of the proposed solution
  • Relevance of Pléiades Neo data for the proposed application
  • Involvement of the future service operator and end users

Schedule:

  • 10 July, 2025: Launch of Call for Projects No. 4
  • 30 September, 2025: Closing date for applications
  • 6–17 October , 2025: Project pitches by candidates
  • 30 October, 2025: Feedback to candidates
  • 31 January, 2026: Signing of agreements with selected project leaders
About the Applications Campus

Launched in February 2024 by CNES and Airbus, the Pléiades Neo Applications Campus issued three calls for innovation projects in 2024, targeting all French companies, including small businesses (SMEs and startups). A new call for projects will be issued in 2025.

Each selected project will benefit from a Pléiades Neo dataset, and human, technical, and business support from both entities, including access to tools and technical resources. Support arrangements are detailed on the Pléiades Neo Applications Campus platform.
